    1. Very happy to hear the challenge was enough of a push to get you back in the pool. Thanks for the feedback!

  1. Did swim.com finally fix the problem on determining different strokes in the apple watch app? The last time I tried to use the app I was shorted every lap I did in breaststroke rather than crawl.

    1. Our development team is continuously working to refine and improve our swim tracking algorithms. Last week, we released a new version that had improvements for how our leaderboards work. We are currently testing another version of the app specifically focused on changes to swim detection. The team is very excited about all the changes made recently and those planned for the near future. Please give our app another try!

  2. I like to intersperse kick sets with my stroke sets. I typically kick 1000 to 1000 yards out of a 2000 yd workout (easier on my shoulders). My tracker won’t capture those yards, making it harder to get the 1000 yd qualifying swims in, but I suppose that’s the cost of choosing to kick so much 😉

Thanks for setting this up though, maybe it will get me to vary my workouts more this month.

  3. Thanks! Does that work on my Garmin Vivoactive 3 watch? Can I use the garmin’s built in tracking or is there a swim app from swim.com I can add to the watch?

    1. Yes! Garmin Vivoactive will work very well. All you need to do is connect your GarminConnect account to Swim.com. Please use the following link for complete instructions on how to set up your device with Swim.com. Garmin Device Setup Thank you for your interest in the challenge. Good luck!!
