Swim.com “Beta” Algorithms Update

As you may have heard by now, we have been working on the next generation of our swim tracking algorithms. Our goal is to deliver the most accurate swim tracking app to our community and we are really close.

However, when Covid-19 hit us, the majority of our testers were left without a place to swim. That’s where you come in!

We need as many people as possible to swim with the beta algorithms and tell us what’s working and what’s not working. In return, if you log at least 3 swims and give us feedback, we’ll enter you into a drawing to win a new Apple Watch! We know you already have one but maybe you want an upgrade or you can just give it away to a friend!

How to enable the beta algorithms

  1. Confirm you are running the latest version of the Swim.com app which is 3.2. This is critical as it contains some key fixes over previous releases.
  2. In the Swim.com app, navigate to Settings, Labs and then enable the Beta Algorithms.
  3. Confirm that the Swim.com Start button on your watch now has the word “(beta”) in the button title.
  4. Go Swim!
How to give us feedback
Each time you swim, please give us feedback. We need at least three swims and therefore three survey responses to ensure we get a good sample size.

How do I get entered to win?

To ensure you are entered into the drawing for a new Apple Watch, be sure to do the following:

  1. Swim at least three times with the beta algorithms.
  2. Complete a survey after each swim. This is critical!
  3. Do all of this by May 17th (or sooner)!
Thanks in advance for participating. Your usage and feedback will help Swim.com continue to be the best swim tracker in the market!
Any questions, feel free to each out to me directly at john@swim.com.

  1. Is this beta test just for apple watch app?
I have a galaxy active 2 and I cannot find this beta test option

    1. Hi Diogo! Thanks for using Swim.com! Right now, we’re just testing the beta algorithms on the Apple Watch.
