Okay, so (1) this post doesn’t actually tell me how to join the challenge, but only tells me how to join a club – since I’m not part of any club, does this mean I am excluded? and (2) the fact that my device is not 100% accurate, and therefore I have to manually correct my laps, makes me ineligible to compete because you don’t count modified entries, correct?
Really frustrating guys…
All those tracking watches are way to expensive for me. What I could use is something I can manually enter my swim workouts. I have a water proof cell phone that I can even take underwater photo/video with. What I could use is a way I can record my workouts, either supplied or what I made up. Any feed back on this?
Stanley, thanks for the comment. The Swim.com mobile app does allow you to manually input and edit the workouts you do. Just open the app, tap “workouts” on the bottom navigation bar, tap the plus sign on the upper right hand corner. We also have a huge catalog of curated workouts in the app! We post a new workout on Monday of each weel titled Workout of the Week.
Hope that helps!
Hey Kyle, I’m a fellow user.. .if you search for a club with the name 2020 Carry, the challenge “club” will come up!
Sorry I can’t help with the second part of your question…. but if anyone has guidance on how to fix issues getting my swims to upload to the app from my galaxy gear, I would appreciate it !
Hi Tina! Thanks for reaching out…your device should update your swims as soon as it connects to a familiar Wi-fi network…double check your network settings and that should resolve the issue. If not, reach out to us and we’ll be happy to assist you further!
Hi Kyle! Thanks for reaching out – joining a club is the first step in joining the challenge. Think of it more as a “group”, rather than a “club”. Just makes it easier for us to track your progress. You can find support on how to join the 2020 Carry On Challenge Club here: https://support.swim.com/hc/en-us/articles/201553049-Club-Pool-Search
As far as the app not tracking your swims accurately, let’s figure that out. Shoot us a DM on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and we can figure out what’s going on.
Hope this helps!
I think if you join the “club” called 2020 carry on challenge, that’s actually joining the challenge
That’s correct! Thanks, Emma!
I just joined and my 10th and 11th distance is not captured in the challenge.
Is there a reason your official T&C’s for the contest don’t seem to include swims with Garmin watches?
Thanks for reaching out, Eric – Garmin swims are included in the challenge, that note was left out in the T&C’s by mistake.
Thanks ! Today is Monday March 2.
1. When do we find out who won what prize?
2. I noticed my swim today was also added to my total count for this challenge. Are we continuing or restarting the count for this month or what is the plan? Thank you !!!!
Hi Richard! Thanks for using Swim.com!
We’ll be announcing the winners on Wednesday this week and any swims posted after 2/29 will not be counted towards the prize totals.
